About the author

Giselle is an educator. Her love for teaching started as a teenager teaching swimming. She taught high school students in Trinidad and England – primarily business studies; secondary courses: information and communications technology, geography, and economics. Giselle also taught marketing, human resources, operations, business environment, and management information systems courses to adults on a hospitality diploma program, and business law on a business administration diploma program. Learners were from diverse backgrounds, of mixed ability, and many were English as a second language students. Differentiation and assessment for learning are key areas of interest and focus. She is currently pursuing the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP) and a Certificate in Online Instruction.
